18th November 2009, Cardiff, – Vista Retail Support, a leading independent EPOS maintenance services company, has reported an impressive increase of 13.9 per cent in its annual revenue figures.
The results come as the company celebrates its first anniversary as an independent organisation following the management buyout from Digipos Store Solutions Group, its former parent company.
Richard Olds, CEO, Vista Retail Support, said, “Following our successful management buy-out agreement we have been able to independently explore new maintenance services across a wide range of retail vendors and cement long term relationships with our existing customer base. These results show we are successfully delivering on our core goal of becoming the number one maintenance specialist in the UK within retail and hospitality sectors.
The gross profit for the year is £2,991,062, an increase of £933,909 compared to the same period last year, while operating profit for the year is £922,115 compared to a profit of £271,900 before exceptional items last year. This represents an increase of £650,215.
“The last 12 months have been a challenging for the retail industry as a whole. However, we have seen that there are opportunities to grow both turnover and profitability in our core activities. We are now looking forward to continue building our reputation of providing a high level of customer service and satisfaction in our core sector, while evaluating investment in other sectors which are complementary to our core business.”
